Blue Oat Grass.
An excellent grass for a dry garden. Can be useful as a specimen in gravel gardens or well-drained containers. Evergreen in mild winters but semi-evergreen even during cold winters. Native to rocky, mountainous areas, it prefers plenty of sunlight and a dry soil. produces airy inflorescences in late spring held 60cms above the foliage.
Can suffer from rust in humid or wet positions, and avoid prolonged periods of wet during winter which can cause root rot.
